The latest issue of PME (Pharmaceutical Market Europe) was out this week and with it another outing for my Digital Intelligence blog.
Leading an exclusives on Lilly’s social media plans, this month it also covers Boehringer Ingelheim’s digital prize at this year’s Communiqué Awards and a post mortem on Pfizer’s virtual clinical trial.
There’s room too for WebMD’s plans to launch Medscape in Germany, the EMA’s move to put reports of suspected adverse events online and much more.

Digital Intelligence in PME, March 2012

The March issue of PME (Pharmaceutical Market Europe) hit desks this week and with it the latest print installment of my Digital Intelligence blog.
This month it features a comprehensive look at the European Commission’s proposed patient information changes, covers Google’s new health search and has new iPad statistics for European doctors.
There are also exclusives on Boehringer’s forthcoming blog, ABPI backing for social media and Boehinger (again) and the timeline for its Facebook game Syrum, and much more.

Digital Intelligence in PME, February 2012

I’m a bit late with this post as February’s PME (Pharmaceutical Market Europe) has been out for a while now. Once again the magazine features the latest print outing for my Digital Intelligence blog.
It asks, after the MHRA approves its first app, whether pharma mobile apps are medical devices. There’s also room for a look at the FDA’s ‘social media’ guidance on off-label information requests, a real-world evidence collaboration between AstraZeneca and IMS Health and much more.

Digital Intelligence in PME, January 2012

January’s PME (Pharmaceutical Market Europe) is out now and with it the second print outing for my Digital Intelligence blog.
Leading with a European slant on the NHS telehealth pilot, it takes in Novartis’ CEO on using technology to improve healthcare access and a Manhattan Research study on Europeans and online health information.
There’s room too for a new health technology partnership from GE Healthcare (whose CEO and president I also happened to interview for this issue of PME), an exclusive on the first official Google+ pages from pharma and much more.
