Just over two years after launching the Digital Pharma blog I have written my final post.
Published on my last day at Pharmafocus/InPharm.com, the self-explanatory Last words from Dominic was a nice opportunity to recap a particularly busy time in ‘digital pharma’ as the rapid advances in social media galvanised the sector.
The post took in the FDA’s social media hearing, the PMCPA’s social media guidelines and (lest you think it was all about social media) pharma’s use of mobile apps and the brief challenge to the industry that was Google Sidewiki.
It is, however, unlikely to be my last article or blog on digital pharma, which is where the post’s coy reference to “a new challenge within the sector” comes in.
So, after 12 years at Pharmafocus, I leave behind some good friends, who I wish all the best, and look forward to some new challenges.
