The Global Health Check is a personalised, interactive data visualisation that covers areas such as increases in life expectancy, decreases in childhood mortality and the emergence of new lifesaving medical discoveries.
The latter is categorised by vaccine, antibiotic, medication and technology, encompassing pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) pills that reduce the risk of HIV infection, a malaria treatment that’s particularly suitable for children and a treatment for chronic myeloid leukaemia.
Looking to the future for global health and there are targets for safer births, and ending the spread of diseases like HIV, TB and malaria.
